Area Sales Manager

Interior Products used in Kitchens, Bedrooms & Bathrooms Manufacturing

Covering North East England & Scotland area

Glasgow, Edinburgh, Newcastle, York, Leeds

£42,000 - £47,000, up to 50% Bonus + Car Allowance

The Company recruiting for the Area Sales Manager:

This is an established, privately-owned international manufacturing group with a strong reputation across multiple industry sectors. Their Interior Solutions division continues to grow its market share and is looking to strengthen its UK sales team as a result.

The Role of Area Sales Manager:

• This ASM is a fantastic opportunity to help grow and develop a division
• A premium product range that's well received in the market, with strong potential still to be capitalised on
• Covering the North East of England & Scotland, you must live on territory
• 40% managing an established customer portfolio, 60% new business development
• Promoting a comprehensive product range to furniture manufacturers and KBB customers
• Using CRM systems to track customer and competitor insights, and staying informed on market trends

The Candidate for the Area Sales Manager:

• You'll be a motivated and driven B2B sales professional with experience of managing a field sales territory
• Proven experience within the interior furniture components industry, with strong market knowledge of decorative boards and associated distribution channels
• Experience manufacturing, selling, or distributing interior products is highly desirable, however not essential
• A natural relationship-builder, comfortable presenting on quality, benefits and technical features, with experience selling premium products to SMEs
• Highly organised, self-motivated and results-focused, thriving in an independent, field-based role
• You MUST have a full UK driving licence and right to work in the UK. Sponsorship is not being offered.

The Package for the Area Sales Manager:

• £42,000 - £47,000 basic
• Above-average bonus scheme (up to 50%)
• Car allowance
