🧼 Hygiene Operative

Full Time | Permanent 📍 Monday to Friday ⏰ Dayshift: 6am - 2pm

We're looking for a Hygiene Operative to join a busy food production environment, helping to maintain the highest standards of cleanliness and food safety across the site.

The Role

As a Hygiene Operative, you'll play a key role in ensuring production areas and equipment are cleaned to the highest standards. Duties will include:

• Cleaning production areas, machinery, racks, and equipment
• Deep cleaning and strip-down of machinery (full training provided)
• Sweeping, mopping, pressure washing, and waste disposal
• Operating cleaning equipment such as floor scrubbers, hot hoses, pressure washers, and vacuums
• Following cleaning schedules and hygiene procedures
• Maintaining food safety, hygiene, and health & safety standards at all times

What We're Looking For

• Reliable and hardworking with excellent attention to detail
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
• Previous hygiene or cleaning experience is beneficial but not essential, as full training will be provided
