An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Consultant Ecologist to join a specialist environmental consultancy delivering ecological, biodiversity and conservation services across Scotland. The company works on a diverse range of projects, providing high-quality ecological advice and supporting clients across development and land management sectors.

As a Consultant Ecologist, you will:

• Undertake protected species and habitat surveys
• Complete ecological assessments and reports
• Support Biodiversity Net Gain projects
• Provide ecological advice and mitigation
• Liaise with clients and project teams
• Contribute to the continued growth of the ecology team

Requirements:

• Degree in Ecology, Environmental Science or a related subject
• Previous consultancy experience
• Protected species and habitat survey experience
• Strong report writing and communication skills
• Full UK driving licence
• Full right to work in the UK
• Living in or within a commutable distance of the Edinburgh office
