Finance Assistant (Temporary)

📍 Kirkcaldy | 💷 £26,500 - £28,000 | ⏰ Full Time, Monday-Friday, 9am-5pm | 📅 Immediate Start

Our client is seeking an experienced Finance Assistant to join their busy finance team on a temporary basis for an initial 8-week assignment, with the potential for extension.

This is a varied transactional finance role supporting multiple business units and would suit someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Processing purchase and sales invoices
• Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable duties
• Matching and reconciling invoices
• Resolving supplier and customer queries
• Supporting credit control activities
• Managing and monitoring aged debtors
• Maintaining accurate financial records

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

• Previous experience in a Finance Assistant, Accounts Assistant or similar role
• Strong Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable knowledge
• Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
• Good communication skills and a proactive approach
• Experience using Xero is highly desirable
