Job Description:

Flexible Workforce Solutions are searching for a passionate and innovative Head Chef on behalf of our client for a new, vibrant, bar in central Edinburgh that has quickly established itself as a destination bar for good food, and good times. 
 
We're thrilled to announce an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic team as the Head Chef at an American bar with an Irish twist. This is a permanent role with a competitive salary starting at £36,000 and rising progressively to £40,000 per annum in the first 6 months, plus a 10% bonus (up to £1,000 every quarter) and the potential to earn great tips. With an OTE of c£50,000 per annum, this is a truly exceptional opportunity to showcase your culinary expertise and lead a kitchen to new heights.
 
This is a dynamic company that has eyes on further brand openings. This will suit a project driven Head Chef that understands the values of delivering a new offering to establish a brand, and move that brand forward to new venues.

Preferred Requirements:

• Exceptional cooking skills with a focus on street food and American bar fare with an Irish influence
• Proven track record in kitchen management and leading a team to success
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing demands
• Passion for creating innovative dishes that drive consistent great reviews
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills to ensure the smooth running of the kitchen

Preferred Qualifications:

• Formal culinary training or equivalent experience in a similar role
• Excellent knowledge of food safety and hygiene regulations
• Proven track record of leading and motivating a kitchen team
• Demonstrated creative input for menu design according to brand identity
• Experience in working with delivery platforms would be a great asset but not essential
