Wind Turbine Service Engineer (Scotland Patch)

£35,000 - £45,000 + Door-to-Door Pay + Unlimited Overtime + Company Benefits + Vestas Training

Are you a Wind Turbine Service Engineer looking to maximise your earnings with unlimited overtime, door-to-door pay, and industry-leading training on Vestas turbines?

This UK-based renewable energy specialist provides nationwide operation, maintenance, and technical support for onshore wind turbines in the 200kW to 850kW range. Operating across England, Scotland, and Northern Ireland, the company delivers high-quality O&M, performance optimisation, technical upgrades, and asset support to maximise turbine availability and long-term value.

In this role, you will carry out planned and reactive maintenance on onshore wind turbines across Scotland. Your responsibilities will include servicing, inspection, fault-finding, repair, component replacement and completing service reports, with the exact work depending on your technical background. The role would suit an engineer with a mechanical, electrical or multi-skilled background who is looking to develop their experience across wind turbine systems.

You will receive specialist Vestas training and have the opportunity to build your technical skills within the renewable energy industry. With unlimited overtime and door-to-door pay available, there are also regular opportunities to increase your earnings.

• Planned and reactive maintenance on onshore wind turbines

• Servicing, inspection and fault-finding across turbine systems

• Mechanical, electrical and/or hydraulic maintenance depending on experience

• Repair and replacement of turbine components in line with OEM standards

• Diagnosing and resolving technical faults

• Completing service reports and maintenance documentation

• Working safely at height in remote wind farm environments

• Covering a Scotland-based patch with national travel when required

• Weekly stayaways required depending on project location

• Door-to-door pay and unlimited overtime available

• Monday-Friday, no on-call rota

• Vestas training and ongoing technical development

• Experience working on wind turbines or similar

• Mechanical, electrical or multi-skilled engineering background

• Comfortable working at height and in varying weather conditions

• Full UK driving licence

• Willing to travel across Scotland and stay away during the week when required
